“Go, Dog. Go!” is an ongoing kids show, from Netflix and produced by WildBrain.
I was hired to supervise the FX crew for this show, since I had extensive experience in supervising teams. The FX department ended up being outsourced, but it was an amazing experience meeting up with the directors and producers, and discuss best approaches, solutions and overall look of the show’s FX. it was also great to meet with the overseas team and discuss some technical solutions, and learn about new approaches and workflows.
Even though I’m not considered an FX artist – I’m a generalist -, I ended up making FX on my own on a handful of occasions like transitions with dynamics, clouds, fluids etc.
I had an amazing time working on this show, and I hope it continues going on.
